Home/Electrical
A house where everything just works.
Service and panel upgrades, rewiring, outlets, lighting, surge protection and smoke detectors. Nothing tripping, nothing dimming, nothing you have to work around.

What it usually meansThat circuit is carrying more than it was built for, or something on it has failed. Resetting it again and again treats the alarm instead of the fire.
What we do about itWe trace the circuit, find what is loading it, and either move the load or add capacity. Sometimes that is one new circuit. Sometimes it points at the panel.
What it usually meansYour service is running at its limit. Common in Bloomington-Normal houses wired before anyone owned three televisions and an air fryer.
What we do about itWe check what the panel and service can actually carry, then tell you straight whether an upgrade is worth doing now or can wait.
What it usually meansA loose connection heating up behind the wall. Of everything on this page, this is the one that should not wait.
What we do about itStop using that outlet and call us. We open it up, find the fault, and replace the device and any damaged wiring.
What it usually meansThe house is running on a system built for a different decade. Some insurers ask about it, and a few will not write the policy at all.
What we do about itA service upgrade with a modern panel and labeled circuits, sized for what you actually use rather than what the house was built for.
What it usually meansThe cheapest electrical work you will ever buy is the work done before the drywall goes back on.
What we do about itWe rough in the outlets, switches and lighting while the walls are open, on the same schedule as the rest of your project.
What it usually meansNothing is protecting the house as a whole, so every surge lands on whatever happens to be plugged in.
What we do about itWhole house surge protection at the panel, which costs a fraction of the appliances it saves.
What we do
A modern panel with labeled circuits, sized for how the house is really used.
Whole house or one room, usually alongside a remodel while the walls are open.
Including dedicated range and dryer receptacles, and outlets where you need them.
Planned around the room rather than centered on the ceiling and hoped for.
One device at the panel instead of a power strip behind every appliance.
Hardwired and interconnected, so one going off means all of them go off.
The dead circuit nobody else could find. We trace it properly instead of guessing.
Signage, lighting and dedicated circuits for storefronts and small commercial spaces.
Recent work
A new service panel with labeled circuits, and rewiring through the house.
The job people put off
What the panel carries today, what you plan to add, and whether an upgrade is worth doing yet.
Costs and timeline in the quote, including utility coordination, so nothing turns up later.
Old panel out, new one in. You will know the date well before it arrives.
Every circuit tested and labeled, so the next person to open that door can read it.
Straight answers
No. Adding an outlet, chasing a dead circuit or swapping a fixture are all normal calls. Small jobs are how most of our customers start.
Often just circuits. A panel upgrade is the right call when the service itself is at its limit or the panel is obsolete. We will tell you which one you are dealing with, including when the answer is that it can wait.
Yes, and it is much cheaper that way. Wiring goes in while the walls are open, on the same schedule as the rest of the project, with one company answerable for both.
Usually a working day for a panel upgrade, and you will know the date in advance. We plan it so you are not finding out that morning.
Our workmanship is, for two years on most projects. Devices and equipment carry their own manufacturer warranty. Exactly what is covered on your job is written into the quote.
Yes. Signage, lighting and dedicated circuits for storefronts and small commercial spaces around Bloomington and Normal.
Free estimate
Tell us what the house is doing and where it is. We come out, look at it properly, and send a written quote with the costs and the timeline.
Then you stop working around it. No more resetting the breaker, no more one outlet in the room you actually use.
